This Privacy Policy explains how Capital (“Capital,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, discloses, and safeguards information when you use the website at getcapital.app and its related services (the “Service”), including the $CAPITAL token presale, the vendor marketplace, and wallet-based features. By using the Service, you consent to the practices described in this policy.

We collect the following categories of information:

• Wallet information: your public wallet address and on-chain transaction data when you connect a wallet (e.g., via MetaMask, Coinbase Wallet, or WalletConnect). We never collect or have access to your private keys or seed phrase.
• Connected social accounts: when you link a social account for verification, we receive limited profile information from that provider, including from X/Twitter (via OAuth), TikTok (via Login Kit), and Telegram.
• Vendor business information: if you register as a vendor, we collect your contact email, store name, store details, and other business information you provide.
• Uploaded content: product images and listing content you upload to the marketplace.
• Usage and device data: basic technical and analytics data such as pages viewed, approximate region, browser type, and timestamps, collected to operate and improve the Service.

When you choose to connect your TikTok account through TikTok Login Kit for vendor verification, we request only the user.info.basic scope. Through this scope, TikTok provides us with the following limited information:

• Your TikTok open ID (open_id), a unique, non-public identifier for your account on our application.
• Your TikTok username.
• Your TikTok display name and avatar URL.

How we use TikTok information: this information is used solely to verify your identity and confirm your eligibility to operate as a vendor in the Capital marketplace, and to display your verified handle on your vendor profile. We do not use TikTok data for advertising or profiling.

We do not sell your TikTok information.We do not share it with third parties except as needed to provide the Service (for example, secure storage with our infrastructure providers) or as required by law. You may disconnect your TikTok account at any time, and you may revoke our access from within your TikTok account settings. Upon disconnection or account deletion, we delete the associated TikTok identifiers in accordance with this policy and TikTok’s developer requirements.

We use the information we collect to:

• Operate, maintain, and improve the Service.
• Enable wallet connection, presale participation, and on-chain interactions.
• Verify vendor identity and eligibility, and manage vendor storefronts and listings.
• Communicate with you about your account, transactions, and support requests.
• Detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, security incidents, and prohibited activity.
• Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service.

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only in the following circumstances:

• Service providers: with vendors who process data on our behalf, including Supabase (database and storage), Vercel (hosting and analytics), and WalletConnect (wallet connectivity).
• Identity providers: with TikTok, X/Twitter, and Telegram only as necessary to authenticate the social connections you initiate.
• Public data sources: price information is retrieved from CoinGecko; on-chain transactions are inherently public on the Base blockchain.
• Legal and safety: when required by law, regulation, legal process, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Capital, our users, or the public.

Transactions you make on the Base network are recorded on a public, immutable blockchain. Information such as your wallet address and transaction history is publicly visible and outside our control. We cannot modify, delete, or anonymize data that has been recorded on-chain.

The Service relies on third parties including Supabase, Vercel, TikTok, X/Twitter, Telegram, CoinGecko, and WalletConnect. These services have their own privacy policies governing how they handle data. We encourage you to review their policies, as we are not responsible for their practices.

We retain personal information only for as long as necessary to provide the Service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. When information is no longer needed, we delete or anonymize it, except where retention is required by law or for data already recorded on the blockchain.

We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect your information against unauthorized access, loss, or misuse. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for safeguarding your wallet credentials.

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to access, correct, update, or delete the personal information we hold about you, and to withdraw consent or object to certain processing. To exercise these rights, including requesting access to or deletion of your data, contact us at support@getcapital.app. We will respond within a reasonable timeframe and in accordance with applicable law. Note that data already recorded on the blockchain cannot be deleted.

The Service is not directed to individuals under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we learn that we have collected such information, we will delete it.

The Service is operated using infrastructure that may store and process data in jurisdictions outside your own. By using the Service, you consent to the transfer and processing of your information in those jurisdictions, which may have different data protection laws than your country of residence.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date above reflects the latest revision. Your continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
